For years the Fiat 500 has ruled in Europe as the best-selling stylish citycar. Its strong personality, wonderful design, awesome interior, and the fact that it’s difficult to find 2 units exactly the same (because of personalization program), has made of it a referent of success when it comes to revive old nameplates. It helped Fiat to survive in mid 00’s and it is still a best-seller even if it was introduced 6 years ago. The historical rival of the 500 has been always the Renault Twingo (not the Mini), another popular 3 door citycar, with strong presence in France and Germany. However, there hasn’t been a direct rival for the Fiat until last year when Opel presented the Adam. The Adam is clearly based on the 500 concept: full of details and personalization features in an interesting package. The 500 will continue to rule, but the Adam will become a serious alternative for those looking for a stylish citycar. Which one do you like more?
