Europe’s top 300 best-selling cars in 2023

I finally made it. The following is the most complete ranking you’ll ever find for Europe by models in 2023. It includes all the countries of Western Europe, Eastern Europe, the Balkans, plus Turkiye, Ukraine, and Moldova. In total there’s data for 43 countries.

The addition of Turkiye makes the ranking a big different from the classic European one. This is a big market, even larger than Spain, so who ever leads there will climb some positions. In fact, this is why the Tesla Model Y’s leadership got threaten by the Renault Clio, quite popular in Turkiye. However, it was not enough to dethrone the electric SUV.

Top 101-200

Top 201-300

Markets included: Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, France, Finland, Greece, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, North Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Serbia & Montenegro, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkiye, United Kingdom, Ukraine.

  1. Very happy to see Alfa Romeo Tonale doing well, but I don’t see the Stelvio. They always sell better then the Guilia. Did you forget about it. I can’t believe it sells outside of this list.

  2. Nice. Would be even better if it could be re arranged by a few different parameters (By Brand, By Holding Company Group, By fuel type etc) radio buttons or csv file.

    Thanks. Great work.
